Name: Lilibeth Ambershard. Prefers to go by Lili, or, simply; Li.
Birthday: February Third.
Age: 20
Gender: Female.
Element: Earth, with a particular focus on minerals and gems, like many others of her family. She also prefers close combat, and is a fearsome martial artist, rather than a particularly powerful bender, to the point where she finds it very difficult to successfully bend any stone she isn't actually touching.
Height: Of shorter than average height, Lilibeth's modest stature is a point of significant irritation for the young earthbender, particularly because of her preference for going barefoot, which makes her seem even shorter than she actually is.
Weight: Despite her small size and slender, athletic frame, the earthbender is surprisingly heavy, owing to her considerable strength, endurance, and well-defined muscles, her body compact, powerful and toned.
Hair Color: Simple, glossy black.
Hair Length: Short, wild and spiky.
Eye Color: Dark hazel.
Skin Color: Fair, often flushed by exertion from her rigorous training schedule.
Body Type: Athletic and fairly muscular, while remaining slender and lithe enough to give her impressive mobility and agility, Lilibeth has the ideal martial artist's body; nimble, yet powerful, and rock-steady when she plants her feet.
Personality: Spunky, adventurous, headstrong, and fearlessly cheeky, Lilibeth has a burning, short-fused temper to match her boundless enthusiasm and wanderlust. The young woman is always eager to leave her family manor behind, and to explore the world, see its sights, learn all she can, fight and spar, improve her Earthbending, and make friends and have grand adventures, in the process.
Likes: Lilibeth is an adrenaline junkie, a risk taker, an explorer, an adventurer and a fan of all things new, interesting and unexplored. With a strong enjoyment of freedom and adventure, the Earthbender loves to travel and see new sights and places, experiencing all the world has to offer in terms of food, drink, culture and interaction. Also a lover of bending, and a good brawl or spar, Lilibeth takes almost any opportunity to sharpen her skills or hone her fitness, deriving great satisfaction from her ability to defeat many opponents even without the use of her brutal close quarters Earthbending. Finally, owing to her isolation within her family home, Lilibeth seeks friendship and companionship above all, the girl eager to find true friends to share her adventures with, and, maybe one day, someone who (unlike her family) genuinely, truly cares for her, for who and what she is.
Dislikes: More than anything else, Lilibeth despises her family, including her younger, obedient sisters, her controlling parents, and her manipulative and cruel extended family, as well as their corruption and shady dealings. Beyond this, the young Earthbender hates those who bully and oppress others using their power, being a strong believer in the power and beauty of bending, and an outspoken opponent of the current establishment and its exceedingly hostile view towards benders. Challenging Lilibeth's skill or bravery (or poking fun at her height) is another surefire way to earn her emnity, the young runaway always eager for a fight, and more than willing to deliver a hefty beating to anyone who she feels is a significantly deserving recipient.
History: The eldest daughter of a wealthy merchant family known as the Ambershards, residing in Guójiā Cānglóng, Lilibeth grew up in wealth and affluence, her family made rich for generations by the now dried-up mineral resources and trading booms of prior decades. Gifted with an extremely high prevelance of Earthbending talent, the Ambershards are a secretive and insular family, instructing their descendants in the bending art, and using it to their advantage in mining efforts, in order to locate what meagre resources Guójiā Cānglóng's rocky ground has left. Additionally, the Ambershards are well known throughout the region for their economic success, as well as their ties with a variety of less than savoury organisations, which further assist them in retaining their wealth even as Guójiā Cānglóng falls to poverty around their mountaintop manor.
As the eldest daughter of her family, Lilibeth was forced to endure years of high-society training and ettiquette, and expected to marry at the family's instruction, in order to gain favour, or to close an important deal of some kind, more a tool of the family in its efforts to stay wealthy and powerful, than their daughter. However, their oppression and secretive nature only fuelled Lilibeth's resistance and wanderlust, the powerful Earthbender breaking out of her family home again and again in the hopes of exploring the world and all it has to offer, in the process expanding her bending and martial-arts skills, despite her repeated recapturing by mercenaries and other shady figures hired by her family to return her to them.
Now, pockets, bag and travelling clothes loaded with wealth "claimed" from her family vault, the plucky young Earthbender is again on the run from her tyrannical family, determined that this time she will not be recaptured, and she will never return, even if, as has happened many times before, she exhausts the resources she has stolen from them in order to fund her flight, and her explorations of the vast world outside her family manor.
